Everyone is United by the Sound and Light : Connecting People Beyond the Boundaries of Language
At the entrance, the Republic of Korea Pavilion poses a question to the visitors who then record responses in their own languages from across the globe which AI reworks as music in Exhibit Space I.
Transforming these recordings into music and giving form to each unique voice through lighting weave together sound and light to deliver the synesthetic design of the exhibit to the visitor as a richly textured dance of music and lights – a lightful, soundful feast for the senses.
The meaning contained here is how individual actions combined can bridge the differences in thought and between minds. Technology and art elevate special, heartfelt moments of the wholly novel visitor’s journey of one’s own voice becoming a sound art piece.

With the restoration of life in a dilapidated city : Connecting Ruins to the Revival of Life through Korean Technology
In Exhibit Space II, concrete artifacts and everyday items of modernity are the main exhibit objects depicting a cityscape turned barren in the wake of industrialization, helping us visualize a fossilized urban existence and sound a warning about the gravity of the environmental and energy issues humanity is face with.
The visitor interacts with the green technology powering the exhibition to access a vision of sustainability and hope. Korea’s flagship green-tech – the hydrogen fuel cell – combines with the visitor’s breath to evoke a powerful, symbolic image of a carbon-free world.
This is an interactive exhibition that plunges the visitor into an experience of a sustainable future made by humanity and technology together that is a full immersion, not just passive viewing. This active participation will help the visitor continue to embody the message of hope and action for a sustainable future long after the experience is over.

The Melody Across Time : Connecting Precious Values from the Present to Future Generations through Music
Exhibit Space III is an immersive, three-sided cinema experience that follows the central story of a high school girl in 2040, Korea, using technology of the future to complete a musical composition her grandfather had left unfinished in 2025. Music is the time-transcending medium connecting generations to communicate timeless, universal values such as family, love, and intergenerational bonds.
Blending the multi-projection three-screen system with the latest cinema technology, visitors are provided with an immersive, dynamic, and emotional tour of Korea’s rich cultural content from K-POP to dance, and so much more. Especially poignant is the message of cherished values that will remain unchanged through time conveyed through masterful visual storytelling that seamlessly brings the past and future into the same space. Here, the visitors will stand upon the nexus of Korea’s past and present, its culture and technology.
