Chapter 1. General Provisions

Article 1. (Purpose)

• The purpose of these Terms is to stipulate the conditions, procedures, and other necessary matters regarding the use of services provided by the Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai Republic of Korea Pavilion Website (koreapavilion2025.kr, hereinafter “Republic of Korea Pavilion Website”).

Article 2. (Definitions)

1. "Republic of Korea Pavilion Website" means a website that provides information on the Republic of Korea Pavilion at the Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai and allows users to view information about the Republic of Korea Pavilion online.

2. "User" refers to a person who accesses the Republic of Korea Pavilion Website and receives services provided in accordance with these Terms.

Article 3. (Effectiveness and Revision of Terms)

1. These Terms become effective upon posting on the Republic of Korea Pavilion Website.

2. The Republic of Korea Pavilion Website may revise the Terms if necessary, and the revised Terms will become effective upon posting.

3. KOTRA may revise these Terms within a reasonable range that does not violate relevant laws and regulations, and in case of revision, KOTRA specifies the date of application, reason for revision, and details of revision and announces them on the initial screen of the Website from 7 days prior to the date of application until the day before the date of application. However, in case of revisions to the Terms that are disadvantageous to members, a grace period of at least 15 days is provided, and the contents before and after revision are clearly compared and displayed so that members can easily understand them.

4. The Terms revised in accordance with Paragraph 3 of this Article shall be notified to members through a notice on the Website, and shall take effect from the date specified in the Supplementary Provisions. If a member does not agree to the revised Terms, the member may cancel membership registration (or withdraw membership) at any time by requesting thus. If the member continues to use the service without expressing his/her intention to refuse the revisions within 7 days from the effective date of the revised Terms, he/she will be considered to have agreed to the revised Terms.

5. Agreeing to these Terms means agreeing to regularly visit the Republic of Korea Pavilion Website to check for changes to the Terms, and KOTRA is not responsible for any damages incurred by users due to not knowing information about the revised Terms despite the notice pursuant to Paragraph 4.

Article 4. Provisions Applicable Mutatis Mutandis

• Matters not specified in these Terms shall be subject to the provisions of relevant laws and regulations such as the Framework Act on Telecommunications, the Telecommunications Business Act, and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.

Chapter 2. Use of Service

Article 5. (Times of Use of Service)

• In principle, the service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, unless there are special operational or technical problems. However, this does not apply in the event of regular inspection or other reasons.

Article 6. (Content of Service)

• Providing information about the Republic of Korea Pavilion at the Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai.

• Announcements, promotional materials, and gallery viewing functions.

• Service content is determined by KOTRA policy and is subject to change.

Article 7. (Suspension of Service)

1. In any of the following Subparagraphs, all or part of the service may be restricted or suspended, and in such cases, KOTRA shall not bear any responsibility to service users or third parties regarding the Suspension of service provision.

2. ① In case of unavoidable circumstances due to construction, such as repair of service facilities,

3. ② When the telecommunication service provider specified in the Telecommunications Business Act suspends telecommunication services,

4. ③ When it is impossible to provide normal service due to a national emergency, power outage, service facility failure, or surge in service use,

5. ④ When system inspection is necessary,

6. ⑤ In case of other force majeure reasons,

7. If the contents of messages and other communication messages stored or transmitted on the Republic of Korea Pavilion Website are not stored or deleted due to a national emergency, power outage, service facility failure outside the scope of site management, or other force majeure, KOTRA shall not be held responsible if they fail to be transmitted or if there is any loss of other communication data.

Article 8. (Copyright Attribution and Use Restrictions)

• The copyright for all content posted on the Republic of Korea Pavilion Website belongs to the Republic of Korea Pavilion Website or the relevant copyright holder.

• Users may not use the contents of the Republic of Korea Pavilion Website for commercial purposes, such as copying, distributing, publishing, or broadcasting, without prior approval.

Chapter 3 Indemnification

Article 9 (Governing Law and Competent Court)

• If a lawsuit is filed regarding a dispute arising from the use of the service, the court with jurisdiction over the location of KOTRA's headquarters shall be the court of exclusive jurisdiction.

Supplementary Provisions

• These Terms take effect from January 31, 2025.
